There are however, a couple of exceptions. 1 The plastic CPU holder guide thingy wasn't attached to the CPU and was a real PITA to get it to stay attached to the CPU. 2 These CPUs were obviously pulled from another system because there was heat-sync paste residue left on the CPUs and heatsyncs 3 . the lack of heat-sync paste shipped with the product - this is sold as a Kit and the HP kit does include the paste 10-01-23
